Quarterly Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) - Trans-Pacific Trade – Eastbound

Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) effective April 1, 2012.

We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) for all dry, reefer, flat rack and open-top containers from Asia, including the Indian Subcontinent to all USA and Canada destinations.

The new Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) levels are as follows:

Effective date: April 1, 2012 (date of cargo receipt at origin)
Scope:              Asia to all USA and Canada destinations

West Coast Port of Discharge:
20' standard container                                      USD 453/20’
40' standard container        (40' x 8'6")            USD 566/40’
40' high cube container      (40' x 9'6")            USD 637/40’HC
45' container                                                       USD 717/45’

East Coast Port of Discharge:
20' standard container                                      USD 871/20’
40' standard container       (40' x 8'6")             USD 1089/40’
40' high cube container     (40' x 9'6")             USD 1225/40’HC
45' container                                                       USD 1379/45’

The Merchant is responsible for all necessary clearances and licenses (as per Clause 12 Hapag-Lloyd Bill of Lading/Sea Waybill Terms and Conditions).
