General Rate Increase – North America to South America, Central America, Caribbean Islands and Mexico

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates effective July 1, 2012.
We would like to inform you that with effect from July 1, 2012 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for containerized cargoes in the following scopes:
From Canada and USA to destinations in South America East Coast, South America West Coast and via Pacific Coast ports of Colombia:
USD 200 per TEU (Dry Cargo)
USD 300 per TEU (Refrigerated Cargo)
From Canada and USA to destinations in Central America ports (excluding Colombia Pacific Coast), Caribbean Islands and Mexico:
USD 150 per TEU (Dry Cargo)
USD 300 per TEU (Refrigerated Cargo)
