United States and Canada – Revision of Demurrage and Detention Charges

Hapag-Lloyd will increase the USA and Canadian detention and demurrage charges effective April 16, 2011.
Further to our announcement on March 17, 2011 we would like to inform you that effective April 16, 2011 Hapag-Lloyd will increase the USA and Canadian detention and demurrage charges by 4%.
Public tariffs have already been updated with 30 day notice.
