French Ports Situation – Strike update 4

Hapag Lloyd informs that following vessels will or may cancel their calls at Le Havre and Fos due to strikes
We would like to inform you that as a consequence of the strikes decided by port workers and crane drivers following vessels will or may have to cancel their port calls at Le Havre and Fos
This situation is beyond carrier’s control and the uncertainty of the working conditions at both ports upon arrival of our vessels do not allow to anticipate the port call omissions.
Please note that with immediate effect every container entering the terminal that may need to be transferred to another vessel for strike reason will be subject to all existing charges as per tariff conditions or local terminal charges.
This includes but is not limited to:
Demurrage Charges (Export and Import)
Storage Charges
We will keep you informed on any new development.
