Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective June 1, 2012.
We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) in the trade from East Asia (excluding Japan) to the Mediterranean effective June 1, 2012 until August 31, 2012 as follows: USD 350 per TEU
The Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is applicable for all container types and sizes.
East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brunei and Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
The Merchant is responsible for all necessary clearances and licenses (as per Clause 12 Hapag-Lloyd Bill of Lading/Sea Waybill Terms and Conditions).
