China National Day Holiday – DG Restriction for South China Outports

Hapag-Lloyd likes to inform you about the DG restriction for South China Outports.
We would like to inform you that in view of the China National Day Holiday from October 1 - 7, most of the outports in South China will not accept DG shipments in that period. This will affect shipments arriving South China main ports a few days prior to the China National Day Holiday as such DG shipments need to be cleared before the holiday commences.
All export DG shipments from South China outports will not be accepted while DG import shipments destined to South China outports, if any, will be stored in the respective Hong Kong and South China transshipment main ports. The affected transshipment ports are:
Hong Kong
Shekou
Chiwan
Da Chan Bay
The restriction period is from September 21 to October 7, 2011.
