Hapag-Lloyd announces terminal change in Oakland.
We would like to inform you that the terminal provider for the Oceania services, Trans Bay Container Terminal (TBCT), will close its operation on October 1, 2010. On October 2, 2010 the terminal will become an extension of the Ports America Outer Harbor (PAOH) facility. The first vessels planned to call at PAOH Terminal are:
Cap Blanche (PSW)
Voyage: 040219 / 189N – ETA 9/30/2010
Voyage: 040220 / 196S – ETD 9/30/2010
Annabelle Schulte (PNW)
Voyage: 040209 / 808N – ETA 10/05/2010
Voyage: 040210 / 812S – ETD 10/05/2010
All export cargo for the Cap Blanche will be received at PAOH with its normal 10 business day receiving window as well as all future import container delivery:
Import delivery for vessels calling at TBCT prior to Oct. 1st will continue at TBCT’s current gate until 17:00 October 1st. After October 1st, all gate activities (including import, exports and empties) will be handled through PAOH’s gates.
