General Rate Increase – Trans-Pacific Trade Eastbound

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates effective March 15, 2012.
We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd has decided to implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) for all dry, reefer, flat rack and open-top containers from East Asia to all Canada and USA destinations, to become effective as from March 15, 2012 (date of cargo receipt at origin), as set out below:
Scope: East Asia to Canada and USA
- To all USA Destinations
20' standard container USD 240/20’
40' standard container (40' x 8'6") USD 300/40’
40' high cube container (40' x 9'6") USD 340/40’HC
45' container USD 380/45’
- To all Canada Destinations
20' standard container USD 320/20’
40' standard container (40' x 8'6") USD 400/40’
40' high cube container (40' x 9'6") USD 450/40’HC
45' container USD 506/45’
East Asia is defined as being the countries of Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong,China (PRC), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore,Brunei, Indonesia, The Philippines and Russian Pacific Coast Provinces.
