Hapag-Lloyd announces terminal change for the West Africa Express service effective Feb 12, 2010
We are pleased to inform you that with the sailing of the Buxsailor 859s (ets Antwerp February 12, 2010) the West Africa Express’ terminal at Antwerp will change to

With this move Hapag-Lloyd will concentrate its activities on the right bank of the river Schelde, enabling us to offer more efficient connections between various services including transhipments to and from North America. Furthermore we are in the position to offer connections ex Tilbury to West Africa by using the Indian Ocean service.
The service is operated with three container vessels with following rotation on a fortnightly frequency:
Amsterdam • Hamburg • Antwerp • Dakar • Lagos-Tincan • Tema • Abidjan • San Pedro • Agadir • Amsterdam
To meet our customer’s requirements the vessels are equipped with a high number of reefer plugs and offer one of the fastest transit times in the entire trade.
