Hapag-Lloyd announces a General Rate Increase effective December 1, 2009 and January 15, 2010.
Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates from USA to East Asia as follows:
effective December 1, 2009 - for Dry Containers (all commodities)

USD 100 / 40' (USD 80 / 20') for Long Beach, CA and Los Angeles, CA origins

USD 150 / 40' (USD 120 / 20') for all other origins
effective January 15, 2009 - for Reefer Containers (all commodities)

USD 250 / 40' (USD 200 / 20') for West Coast port origins

USD 300 / 40' (USD 240 / 20') for all other origins
