Hapag-Lloyd führt mit Wirkung zum 15. März 2012 eine neue Formel für den Bunkerzuschlag im Ozeanien Verkehr ein.

We are pleased to announce the implementation of a new bunker charge formula in the Oceania trade effective March 15, 2012, which will be named Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF). The new formula takes into account the latest bunker consumption, utilization and imbalance factors.
The new Bunker Fuel Factor (BFF) will apply to rates filed effective March 15, 2012 or later.
The initial BFF charge levels effective March 15, 2012 will be announced with 30 days notice.
The current Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) will continue to apply to rates filed effective prior to March 15, 2012 and until their expiry.
If you wish to voluntarily discuss rates currently subject to BAF, for purpose of applying BFF charge, you are requested to address such inquiries to your sales representative.
