Neue Regelung für Transit IMO Ladung durch die Dardanellen und Bosporus
27 Oct 2011
Hapag-Lloyd akzeptiert mit sofortiger Wirkung keine der relevanten IMO Klassen mehr von und zum Schwarzen Meer und Marmarameer.
Lieber Kunde, dieser Text liegt nur in englischer Sprache vor:
According to the new VTS (Vessel Traffic Strait Centre) regulations implemented September 27, 2011 by Turkish Authorities any vessel with a LOA (length overall) exceeding 150 meter and carrying dangerous cargo under IMO classes 2, 5.1, 5.2, 6.2, will be considered as IMO tanker.
Such vessels are not permitted to transit through Dardanelles and Bosphorus Straits without joining the tankers convoy. Therefore, vessels declaring the mentioned IMO classes on board has to follow the scheduled strait passage with tanker vessels which will cause delays and extra waiting times for the straits passage.
As a consequence, we would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will discontinue to accept the relevant IMO classes from and to Black Sea and Marmara with immediate effect.
