Hapag-Lloyd informiert über die neue chinesische Zollregulierung.

Since January 1, 2009 the “New” Chinese Customs Regulation (Chinese 24 Hour Rule) has been in effect.
Advice has been received of China Customs intent to fully progress the transition of manifest submissions from the current to the new CCAM system.
For this reason it is of utmost importance that all shipping instructions are submitted according to the documentation cut-off time stipulated in the Hapag-Lloyd booking confirmation.
In line with this notice of intent, we expect that it will soon become necessary to enforce the “No Doc – No Load” policy to enable Hapag-Lloyd to comply with Chinese Customs Regulations.
We would highlight that in case penalties are received due to missing or late received customs declarations in the interim period, Hapag-Lloyd will have to hold the customer responsible.
